I needed 1 inch square bites of deep chocolate today for a party so I bake the Mississippi Mud Cake in a glass 9x13 inch pan. I buttered the pan well, then spread out the batter....baked it at 350 for about 25 min. and let it cool completely! Then rubbed the top with confectioners sugar and cut it in tiny bite size piece! Honestly...it was so rich and good and looked great piled on a square white plate (dusted with a bit more sugar.) I admit that I ate SEVERAL pieces while I was cutting....I couldn't serve anyone a corner piece or one that fell apart it in the middle! I call that quality control AND I call it delicious!
