It's almost March and it's still cold this year in Mississippi! We've got daffodills blooming all over the lake bank, camellias in full flower and ice on the water puddles this morning! The weather is crazy - but Spring is on it's way!
Izabela, My little 4 year old grandaughter in Maine, just can't understand how WE can have flowers and her back yard is still under 4 feet of snow! The two of us spend a lot of time comparing Maine and Mississippi, including what we are cooking for supper in both places!
Two of Bella and Carter's favorite foods are my Black Bean Chili and my All-American Apple Cake and I make sure those products are well stocked in DeeDee's pantry!
You know, Deanna gave me the inspiration AND her recipe for biscotti that we turned into Auntie DeeDee's Cranberry Chocolate Biscotti Mix! Deanna walked me through the process of shaping and baking so that our mix is so simple and so GOOD! It's Tony's favorite! A cup of coffee and a Biscotti to dip in it!

Just wanted to let you know that I received your box of goodies today! Never thought I would win anything! My friend Gaynell who was with me is usually the lucky one. Plus today is my birthday so it came at a really special time.
You know I am just "putting every thing together". Many years ago I went to a 'home party' where Taste of Gourmet foods were served. I remember loving them, but then never heard of them again.. Never dreamed when we walked into The Crown that I would rediscover them. And then to win a whole box full! I shared with GAynell...the Jezabel Sauce.
Looking forward to trying them all.. and again you made our trip to Indianola very special. If you ever get to Bay St. Louis on the beautiful Gulf Coast, please let us know!

Dale - it was such fun meeting you at The Crown and I'm so glad you won our Taste of the South! Enjoy every one of those goodies and let's don't get "lost" again!
