I got a frantic call recently from a customer who has been buying our Dessert Mixes for years! She was cooking for a party the next morning and realized that she was out of our All-American Apple Cake! She had planned to make it with a can of pumpkin instead of the apples for her church circle meeting! The perfect munchie for a fall morning!
Luckily, I knew how to help her! We can’t have someone “Cake-less” when she’s on the phone saying, “But I need it today!” She lived in the Brandon area, not too far from April Savell, one of our very best Taste of Gourmet Directors. She called April. April had a couple on her shelves, so the party was saved! A happy customer and very happy guests the next morning!
Our Taste of Gourmet Consultants don’t always have just what you want on hand when you need it! That’s why we always say, “Buy several at the Tasting or online! Be ready for Apple Cake (or Cranberry Chutney or Southwest Soup) Emergencies! All our products keep well in your pantry – so stock up!"
This is the perfect time to order from your Consultant or online! You can be prepared to serve the easiest, best tasting food in the country to your family and guests! When Taste of Gourmet is in your pantry, there are no emergencies – only happy people!
Mrs. Evelyn, I can not tell you how many times that has happened! I love it when I can help someone in pinch! This morning I took spinach artichoke dip (Simply Spinach Dip Mix) to a baby shower at Sunday School and I got 3 orders for that dip! I do like to keep things on hand but I also feed my family and friends Taste of Gourmet too so I keep my pantry stocked with all of these goodies and everyone should too!

I just received the All-American Apple Cake in my shipment this week. I really appreciated the canned pumpkin substitution tip. I happen to have canned pumpkin in the house...which is an oddity in itself if you know me. I'm excited to muster this up and share it with the office post-Thanksgiving!
